The The Bakers Dozen Regis TAP
(Tour And Picnic)
Raising funds for Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance
Sunday 3rd September 2023

ENTRY HAS INCREASED BY 5 CARS!
Bognor Regis Motor Club are delighted to announce that the entry is now open for this year’s Regis TAP and already places have been reserved.
However, we are now able to open the Reserve list and having spoken to our venues we are now able to increase the entry by 5 more cars to 90 with 5 reserves (these will be offered places on a strictly first come first served basis).
The start will be returning again to the fabulous venue of Great Ballard School at Eartham, courtesy of Mrs Sue Jay, with breakfast butties and coffee/tea plus the collection of roadbooks

Another fabulous selection of venues has been found for this year including a very special exclusive visit to The Garden at The Down House, Itchen Abbas (normally only open through the National Garden Scheme who are fundraising for Nursing and Health Care Charities). Created by Mark & Jackie Porter over the past 20 years, their beautiful garden is divided into “rooms” and is very enjoyable to wander around. They have a meadow for parking and picnics and dogs are also most welcome. www.thedownhouse.co.uk

At each of the previous Regis TAP we have tried to include exclusive venues and places of interest, especially with a motoring slant. This year Ali makes no apology for returning to Jim Stokes Workshops at Waterlooville, always a real hit for all Petrolheads and a rare chance to look around this amazing facility specialising in pre 1960 mainly Italian historic racing cars like Alfa Romeo and Ferrari. However, their talents include a full Engine Shop that actually creates components as well as engine rebuilding. For those interested in the technical side of racing competition this is a sight to see! Tea and cake will be included here. www.jswl.co.uk

The finish will be a return to The Tithe Barn, Old Ditcham Park south of Petersfield where a Meat Roast will be available.
